Avoiding Sugar!

You have heard it before, sugar is a killer but maybe you felt, like many “c’mon, how bad can it be?” Let me be the next to try to convince you…it IS that bad.  Particularly the liquid sugar that you drink which comes without other fiber, minerals or nutrients.  That starts with sugar in your coffee and goes right on through the sugar in your morning glass of juice (yes, even the 100%  not from concentrate juices.) And, I can’t believe we are even still talking about soda, but there you have it, we are. It’s evil. Moving on…

One obesity expert, Dr Lustig, childhood obesity expert convincingly scared the crap out of me and I am hoping to do the same for you. Call it a gift.  A scary, crappy gift, but, I will never leave you hanging and scared…I am going to give you some options.

I love food, try to watch my weight, know more than I want to about healthy living (sometimes I wish I knew less so I wouldn’t feel so guilty when I stumble), am a daughter, sister, friend, mom and wife who worries and scurries the meals onto the table.
