I think most of us realize that eating as much whole, unprocessed food as possible is the key to a healthy diet. Cooking just happens to be another form of processing, so for many eating as much raw food as possible is a way of life. For those of us not used to eating a raw food diet, it can be challenging. Even if you are just looking to have a few more raw meals in your regular diet. Personally, after salad and fruit… I was pretty much tapped out of raw meal ideas!

Not to worry – this book is creative and bright. Offering recipes for dishes that are inspired to say the least. From wraps and rolls, to pasta, entrées and desserts, there is no end to great ideas for raw meals here.

I also love the color this book has, every page is bright and beautiful.

What Could Be Better

Nothing that I can see. Healthy meals that are quick to make and inspiring to the home chef… sounds like a winner to me!

Target Audience

This is a wonderful book for just about any home chef. Even if you do not want to eat a totally raw food diet, it never hurts to learn a new style of cooking. And these recipes will definitely come in handy in the summer time when standing over a hot stove is not anyone’s idea of fun! It is also a great reference to have on hand for those who entertain guests with allergies. Because most of the food is raw, no need to worry about eggs, gluten, dairy or vegetarian/vegan guests. These dishes will please them all.
